In other news, after a failed eye screening and a letter from the school nurse, Jenna is following in her sister's footsteps and is now sporting a new pair of glasses! Well, she assures me she's wearing them at school anyway. This is her the day she got them. She's also modeling a prototype of the pie she made for the annual 5th grade pie contest at school. She made another one that turned out better for school and we ate the first attempt. :)
Kendall's enjoying having some actual free time now that the play's over. She's been sucked into the Twilight craze and is currently on the third one. I'm also reading Twilight now and something is obviously very wrong with me because I'm finding it rather....boring (GASP!) I realize I'm the only person of the female persuasion who feels this way, so it's obviously a flaw in my brain chemistry or something. Kendall assures me that the books get more exciting and I'm currently at the point where James the bad vampire is after Bella, so things are looking up. Anyway, Kendall is also trudging her way through "Oliver Twist" for her advanced english class & not liking it so much. It seems to be more bearable with a furry friend on her lap.
Thanksgiving was great and it's full speed ahead to Christmas! That reminds me, The Grinch (Jim Carey) is on tonight! When you don't have cable, this is exciting stuff. :)

So much in the post that requires a comment on my part.
1. Paint. Yes, deviating from Tans and Reds and Greens is an endeavor that requires a careful eye and some bravery. I plan on getting my Benjamin Moore color wheel out tomorrow morning to get my opinion of your color selection.
2. Jenna looks absolutely CUTE in her new specticles. I think they are fetching, and think she must love seeing all the detail in the world that was unknowingly missed by her nearsighted haze she has lived in.
3. I've never read Oliver Twist, but think I may subject Chloe to that book soon. She and I have just finished watching Masterpiece Theatre's Jane Eyre to celebrate her completion of her comprehensive study of the book, which may explain my inability to write things without formality of words. Perhaps Kendall would better appreciate something by Tolken, or even some of CS Lewis' fiction which has a more fantastical flare than Austin or the like. Perhaps she should suggest that to her teacher.
4. Everything, absolutely everything in life is more bearable with a cute fuzzy fur of love on ones lap. I often want a little lap dog, just because of this very fact.

Okay..not really. Personally, I liked the first one the best, so I'm not sure how you'll fare with the rest. It's okay, though, Deb...but there might be a support group out there for Women Who (Gasp) Don't Enjoy Twilight. My friend Nikki may join you. She isn't liking it either.

And paint? I'm TERRIBLE with picking out paint. I have deviated from tan, but I never get too crazy. I really just need someone to come over and tell me what to do, though.
